ECMP: multiple equal-cost routes

When two or more paths to a destination have the same routing metric (same OSPF cost, same BGP attributes), a router can use all of them simultaneously — Equal-Cost Multi-Path routing.

This multiplies available bandwidth: 4 × 10 Gbps links = 40 Gbps aggregate capacity, without any complex load-balancer hardware.
